Writing: Idea List

Sorry, guys! I know I promised to write about Kino’s Journey next, but I ran out of time. This week, I’ll do the writing part of the blog. How it works is each month I’ll work on an exercise and/or step of the writing process based on RWBY. For example, this month is Ideas and Inspirations, so I’ll have exercises getting some ideas down and talking about what inspires me. For this post, I’ll go through some ideas I have. I might commentate on some of them so watch out for that.

1. Three reincarnatins and an appocalytpic baby.

   • Tried to work on this but couldn’t for life of me focus. Maybe it’s kinda like a Deltarune-Undertale situation where I need to write the second idea before the first.

2. A muscle dude isekais and must challenge the lords of evil along with his now buff dog, Icarus.

   • Funny idea. Not interesting enough.

3. Santa with a gun tries to take revenge on Frosty the Snow after he killed Mrs. Claus

4. Girl gets run over by a truck and gets transformed into a mech lizard

   • Keeping this in the pocket. It is a funny idea.

5. An entire high school gets isekai’d and one girl gets turned into a dog.

   • Too much like the spider one.

6. An office worker fucks a cleaning lady ghost and makes a ghost baby.

   • I don’t know what I was thinking with this one. Maybe the baby is some sort of paranormal investigator who has a half corporeal body but I don’t know.

7. Alan the dog traveler must find their wife after getting stuck in another world.

   • Alan is like Kal’tsit. I will shove them in something if I could.[

8. An archivist joins an adventuring party and documents their adventures.

9. A bear has human-thinking capabilities because of an experiment and now must figure out their life.

10. An aimless person isekais and tries to figure out their life out in the fantasy realm.

11. A soft serve ice cream changes into a man and must find a husband.

12. Dragons start to eat all of the ice cream, making a shortage. This results in the Ice Cream War.

    • Must have been hungry at the time

13. Birds band together and make a superhero league and an evil league.

14. An anthro wolf adopts a raven-like girl and makes an oddjob adventuring guild.

    • Might actually write this one day.

15. A marching band accidentally become superheroes.

    • I was thinking of that one found footage movie where the loner misogynist guy gets powers with his friends. Chronicle? Okay searched it and it’s Chronicle.

16. Killer dog becomes a hero of justice.

17. A hedgehog becomes friends with a fox and become a mystery-solving duo.

18. A character’ drawings come to life and wreck havoc.

19. A dog must defeat an army of wolves and recruit a bunch of dogs to do it.

    • Ginga-inspired.

20. A reindeer and dog are arranged to be married and must now live together.

    • Furry.

21. A girl find the world’s first dragon egg.

22. Someone’s trashed papers become alive and haunt them.

23. The world change in [blank] because everyone mysteriously turned into dogs and immersed into a different world.

    • More on this idea later.

24. A character must track down the thief who took her milkshake.

25. A wise dragon warrior goes on many adventures.

    • Might also do this idea as well since I had an entire outline for it.

26. A pig raises an army and kills their farmer.

    • Too much like Animal Farm.

27. A dude discovers his roommate’s bara collection (surprise said dude has a yaoi collection).

28. A gun-totting woman meets a mage who hates guns.

29. A dog must find their owners after an earthquake.

    • I think this was the plot or starting point of the dog Erin Hunter novel.

30. An artist discovers a world of magic.

And that’s it! Here’s the long list of ideas I had. Next writing post, I’ll write about inspirations and where they come from for me. Until then, I’ll try to post the review on Kino’s Journey on Saturday.
